Well my agent (Angela Hales AKA Big Mammma) received word that two more teams have expressed interest in me as a Linebacker in the National Football league. One team from the AFC South and the other from the NFC North, both teams in which I have expressed interest in. At this point there are many teams that I like, but I'm willing to add support to any team that gives me the opportunity. I want to compete and WIN.
Other news in the next couple months be sure to check out my web page brandonculpepper.com, .mobi which is now under construction, as well as brandonculpepperfoundation.org. We have been working closely with PR representatives to expand and grow my BRAND. I want to become a house hold name ladies and gentlemen. Not just for what I do on the field, but for what I do in the community also.
I love helping and giving service to others, not b/c I know it's going to come back to me, but because it's the right thing to do. I talk about the movie "Peaceful Warrior" a lot in my blog, one thing the actor said that I will never forget is "The greatest gift you can give is service." That's what life is all about, doing to others as you would want them to do to you.
Big thanks to Art Franklin and the Art Franklin Media Group for all of their help these last couple weeks. All those who have supported me on this journey. Most importantly I want to thank you for reading this blog,
Stay tuned for what's next. Twitter
I will be sending post and tweets when pages .com, .mobi and foundation.org are up and running.

Brand Management

If you follow my tweets @culpeppernfl, then you would know that last week I attended a EICC meeting at New Birth Baptist Church. The focus of this meeing was building your Brand, whatever or whoever it may be. It was explained to me that I am a brand, my image and how I carry myself is watched and should be carefully monitored.
So after the meeting, I was introduced to many who work in the entertainment field and represent athletes, actors, artist, male and female alike. They were explaining to me how I have a very marketable brand and the benefits that can come from it (it=me=brand). This week I have set through a series of phone conversations with those I met at theevent; setting up meeting to put together marketing stategies and ultimaly choose a team or firm that can represent me, as well as I can represent myself.

Were Ready, Are You?
Im so ready to play right now!! Just had to let that out, don't be alarmed. Late night for training here in Atlanta and yes we got it in (Get IR DONE! LOL). I must say, I really am enjoying myself, this journey, the people I meet, places I go etc. I'm just so thankful for the opportunity to do what I want to do, enjoy life, possitive energy and the possitve people that I continue to attract in my life. Big congrates to my boy Big Mike that I train with here in Atlanta GA. Mike got called up by the Broncos yesterday and he is ready to go; I'm excited for him and I wish him all the best. He is O-Line, so you know I got to give him the business a few more times on the field before we both depart.

SERVICE TO OTHERS

Part time as I have mentioned in other blogs, I train individuals who are interested in living healthy lifestyles, work at a restaurant in Dacula GA called Fatsos and spend time working with children and young adults. I help kids with their math using functional training @ Gillette Grade school. Lend my time and money to One economy and other global outreach groups here in GA, as well as visiting local schools and hospitals throughout Atlanta. I am able to be a service to others.
Recently I received pictures from some of the events that I participated in and figured it would be good to give a visual of what else I do outside of football and training. There is a great movie that I watched some time ago called Peaceful Warrior (2005). If you haven't seen it, I suggest you do. The movie explains that the greatest gift you can give is service to others.
I know that service to others especially service to children makes a difference in their growth, because it made a difference in mine. I have had many give their time and energy to me, so it's only right that I do the same. "Encourage and lead by example." Bishop Eddie Long says that we should,” Love Like Him, Live Like Him, Lead like Him.” I know that, once it’s all said and done with football, my next job will involve assisting children with their development.

FEBRUARY 2010 WOW!!!
Another Month gone by and it's day 62 of 2010. Lots has happened since the hand struck 12:00am and we were welcomed into 2010; meetings with teams, coaches, scouts, my agent, acquiring new trainers etc. All a work in progress I guess and I'm doing my best to enjoy the JOURNEY. The month of February seem to have flown by, it seems to happen like that when your doing lots. My goal for March is to slow down and enjoy it, rather then running around from point A to point B and some how getting to point F and G without any recollection of C,D, and F (you know what I mean).
I started with a new trainer in February, he works with me on my technique as a linebacker as well as some terminology. This was an awesome Idea until I took it to far; I continued training with Energy Fitness and Coach Johnson (the new trainer) and strained my foot. The foot is doing much better now, doctor told me it's from lack of rest and he was right. The month of February alone I have 30 training periods listed in my calender, not good especially when there were only 28 days in the month lol, but my trainers were not laughing (Weight Dropped). We have it under control now and are back on track to being in rookie camp this April and mini camp in July.
Baltimore sent me a msg to stay patient, keep training and be ready when my number is call and I'm holding to it. Other teams have shown much interest also and my agent continues to push my name throughout the league, Canada and AF1, I'm ready to play! Every time I feel a little down there always seems to be some phone call, email, text from coach, scout, agent or former player to uplift my spirits.
Just today after taking a much needed nap, I received a phone call from Peter, a recruiter from State Farm insurance that my professor Dr. Steven Castleberry put me on after graduating from college. When he introduced himself I figured he was calling about my renters insurance that I have not yet paid for the month of February, but the more he spoke and asked probing questions I knew that this was a different State Farm agent. Peter asks what I was doing these days, he said from his notes the last time we had spoke I had a workout in Texas June of 2008 and he was right. So much had happened since that time that I didn't know where to start. That conversation really put my life in perspective; these last two years have been AWESOME (THE JOURNEY)and I am very thankful and grateful for the opportunities that I have been apart of and those to come.
Last week I was asked to take part in a photo shoot and I would like to share some of my pics with you, enjoy.
I AM EXCITED FOR WHAT'S TO COME AND PLAYING FOOTBALL AGAIN!!!!
