Another Month gone by and it's day 62 of 2010. Lots has happened since the hand struck 12:00am and we were welcomed into 2010; meetings with teams, coaches, scouts, my agent, acquiring new trainers etc. All a work in progress I guess and I'm doing my best to enjoy the JOURNEY. The month of February seem to have flown by, it seems to happen like that when your doing lots. My goal for March is to slow down and enjoy it, rather then running around from point A to point B and some how getting to point F and G without any recollection of C,D, and F (you know what I mean).
I started with a new trainer in February, he works with me on my technique as a linebacker as well as some terminology. This was an awesome Idea until I took it to far; I continued training with Energy Fitness and Coach Johnson (the new trainer) and strained my foot. The foot is doing much better now, doctor told me it's from lack of rest and he was right. The month of February alone I have 30 training periods listed in my calender, not good especially when there were only 28 days in the month lol, but my trainers were not laughing (Weight Dropped). We have it under control now and are back on track to being in rookie camp this April and mini camp in July.
Baltimore sent me a msg to stay patient, keep training and be ready when my number is call and I'm holding to it. Other teams have shown much interest also and my agent continues to push my name throughout the league, Canada and AF1, I'm ready to play! Every time I feel a little down there always seems to be some phone call, email, text from coach, scout, agent or former player to uplift my spirits.
Just today after taking a much needed nap, I received a phone call from Peter, a recruiter from State Farm insurance that my professor Dr. Steven Castleberry put me on after graduating from college. When he introduced himself I figured he was calling about my renters insurance that I have not yet paid for the month of February, but the more he spoke and asked probing questions I knew that this was a different State Farm agent. Peter asks what I was doing these days, he said from his notes the last time we had spoke I had a workout in Texas June of 2008 and he was right. So much had happened since that time that I didn't know where to start. That conversation really put my life in perspective; these last two years have been AWESOME (THE JOURNEY)and I am very thankful and grateful for the opportunities that I have been apart of and those to come.
Last week I was asked to take part in a photo shoot and I would like to share some of my pics with you, enjoy.
I AM EXCITED FOR WHAT'S TO COME AND PLAYING FOOTBALL AGAIN!!!!

ADE
You know what they say, out of sight, out of mind. So here is a reminder Ade for teams to remember me. It's called THE TICKET, and the the other pics are of me training. I do apologize but the video is taking a while to down load, but I'll do my best to get it on here for you and the world to see.
