IT"S 2010 AND THE FIRST MONTH WAS AWESOME

Where do I start; I had a grand time over Christmas with my family in Michigan, we all got together; mother, sister, brothers, in laws, nieces and all my nephews. It was such a special moment in my life that it brought tears to my eyes; all my family together at once. While in Michigan I was able to touch base with the Detroit Lions, they need help too, maybe I'm the missing link to their team, I want to contribute and win (Lions team).

New Years was spent with my Mother, Just the Two of Us and boy did I have a good time. I love my mother so much so anytime we get to spend together is very special to me. We went out to eat, then to the casino and while there danced the year in to some live Jazz music.

After bringing the New Year in, I traveled back to Atlanta, GA where I began to get on track and continue my quest to the NFL. The week following my return as I was driving to work, the Baltimore Ravens called me. It was a Saturday evening. They notified me that they liked what they saw and they wanted to see more. I was encouraged to continue to work hard, train and be ready when my name is called.

I immediately called my friend and videographer , Jack Jeffrey of Building Nine Productions, and told him of the news. We scheduled a date to film, along with my trainer and things continued to work in my favor. Soon after Filmimg, my agent and I set up a meeting with the Baltimore Ravens the 4th week of the year in Mobile Alabama @ the Senior Bowl.

The Film looks great and the meeting with the Ravens went beyond well. They are considering bring me up for Rookie camp in April, after the draft. I was pump, well I guess when i think about it I'm still very excited. While at Senior Bowl I networked my way into series of conversations with other teams in attendance, scouts, financial advisors and various media networks (CSN,ESPN, and the NFL NETWORK). The reporters seem to find it very interesting what I do, I mean they speak to me as if I am one of a kind; when I think about it I really am.

I'll never forget the expression on Baltimore's scout's face when I told him I had the film he requested, he didn't expect me to have it done so quickly, I'm learning to expect the unexpected and be prepared at all times. This week week we have been following up with the teams and contacts made in Mobile and getting ready physically and mentally for my rookie season as a professional football player.
